AI safety asks whether advanced systems will remain controllable. Cybersecurity shows what happens when increasingly autonomous systems encounter real networks, real adversaries and defenses that must succeed continuously.

In both cases, the underlying asymmetry is the same: an attacker or autonomous system can test, fail, learn and try again at machine speed. The defender must identify and stop the consequential attempt before it succeeds.

The purpose of this tracker is not to assume catastrophe. It is to preserve the evidence, expose patterns and identify changes in the risk environment before isolated incidents become an unmistakable trend.
